NEST BUILDERS Down Payment Assistance Program qualified buyers can receive the amount of the down payment as a gift. This extraordinary program allows sellers, realtors, lenders and builders to receive a host of wonderful benefits and have a positive impact on the housing community.
As a not-for-profit organization, NEST BUILDERS is not a licensed provider of mortgage related services, but works with Asset Capital Mortgage and its partners and experts in the housing and mortgage industries licensed to provide these services.
OUR MISSION
The primary objective of NEST BUILDERS is to improve the lifestyle of Canadians through the creation of affordable housing.
It is our conviction that anyone who dreams of owning their own home deserves the opportunity of home ownership. We fulfill this objective by making available gifted down payments to qualified purchasers. This in turn makes more rental properties available and will allow people to acquire a new standard of housing. This opens up more opportunities for low-income families to up their standard of housing when vacancies become available in the rental market, especially when incentives are offered to renters to move. This will have a ripple effect right down to the Homeless allowing us to positively impact the homeless crisis one home at a time.

Improve Quality of Life for More Individuals & Families
- Provide a Down Payment Assistance program (the only approved program of its kind in Canada) enabling qualified buyers to see their desire of owning their own home become reality sooner.
Assist Homebuyers
- Preparation course on home ownership and budgeting.
- Establishing academic lectures pertaining to housing and financing.
- Providing scholarships, bursaries, and prizes for scholastic achievement regarding housing and finance.
- Undertaking research in the housing and mortgage industry; looking for creative ways to finance housing with all information made available to the public.
Relieve Poverty
- Supply low cost and affordable purchase and rental housing along with appliances to the less fortunate.

- Protecting the welfare of children by providing safe and secure housing therefore aiding in the prevention of child abduction and abuse.
- Providing counseling services for people in distress.
- Rehabilitating victims of substance abuse and preventing substance abuse.
- Relief of the housing crisis in all communities. Thereby reducing the violence, alcoholism, and all other issues related to over crowding.
